By using Kado (Food Health Analyzer), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.

2. Service Description

Kado is a food product scanning and nutrition analysis application that allows users to:

• Scan food product barcodes
• Capture and analyze nutrition facts tables using OCR
• Calculate personalized health scores based on nutrition data
• Track food consumption history
• Receive health insights and recommendations

All nutrition data processing occurs locally on your device or through secure cloud services for maximum privacy.

3. Data Privacy & Processing

Your Privacy is Our Priority:

• Scanned nutrition labels are processed using OCR technology
• Product data is retrieved from the Open Database
• Your personal health profile (age, weight, etc.) is stored locally
• Scan history is stored on your device and can be deleted anytime
• We do not sell or share your personal health information
• Product images are not permanently stored unless you choose to save them

4. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Using the app in compliance with applicable laws
• Verifying nutrition information accuracy for critical health decisions
• Not relying solely on app scores for medical nutrition advice
• Consulting healthcare professionals for dietary recommendations
• Maintaining the security of your device and personal data

5. Subscription & Premium Features

Kado offers both free and premium features:

• Basic scanning and nutrition viewing is available in the free version
• Premium features include custom scoring, advanced analysis, and unlimited operations
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• Refunds are subject to App Store/Google Play policies

Pricing:

• Premium: $15/year - Individual custom scoring and advanced features
• Premium Family: $40/year - Up to 4 personalized profiles with all premium features

8. Intellectual Property

The Kado app and its features are owned by Balshoo. Product nutrition data is provided through the Open Database, which sources data from Open Food Facts under the Open Database License (ODbL).

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Kado is provided "as is" without warranties. We do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted service availability
• Error-free operation
• Perfect OCR accuracy for nutrition tables
• Accuracy of crowd-sourced nutrition data
• Suitability for medical nutrition decisions

10. Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. We are not liable for:

• Health issues arising from dietary choices based on app data
• Inaccurate nutrition information from OCR or database errors
• Indirect, consequential, or punitive damages
• Issues arising from third-party data sources

• Minimal personal data collection
